What is it catching in my throat?

In the grooves in the wet places where words fly out like sparks.

It is a pearl.

I can see it when I close my eyes.

I can feel it humming in the dark.

There is electricity in the middle of it,

there is a black hole behind it,

there are guts and blood crystalizing.

the pearl is catching in my throat and I cannot get it out.

My neighbour Bill has a cactus growing in his garden that is so tall I can see it out my bedroom window (which is upstairs). Super Cactus!

Decorative Patterns of The Ancient World

My wonderful friend Jon gifted me this book on ancient patterns, symbols and characters used by various civilizations for decorative and communication purposes. It is the original printing issued by the British School of Archeology in Egypt, 1930!!

A dreamy team

Takashi Murakami and Britney Spears collaborated for POP Magazine. Murakami directed the shoot which features themes inspired by Japanese manga. The current issue also comes with a sheet of Takashi Murakami stickers. That was the driving force for my spending $29.95 on a magazine (vomit).

I want to replicate this shoot somehow but with more pastel purple and neon lighting (UV also) if possible.

Ball Lightning

Ball lightning ranges from coin size through to anywhere up to 20ft in diameter. The phenomena can last from seconds to up to a minute long. It is not uncommon (although the occurrence itself is very rare) for the balls of lightning to explode, leaving a strong smell of sulphur.

Tuesday's work

At the gallery on Tuesday I got to sort through rare sea-shells, fossils, meteorites, wooly mammoth hair, dinosaur poo and moon rocks. It was a pretty good day.

I don't understand how but this sea-shell has transformed into a crystal (Pyrite?) over time.

You too can own a little piece of the moon!

A private collection. Some of these shells are very rare and only usually found in deep sea. They sometimes come up accidently in fishing nets.

One day a fish turned into a rock.

Mollusk, mineral, dino poo.

Objects in this photo include Amber, meteorites, Wooly Mammoth bone.

Fossilized Antelope skull - the objects next to it are petrified wood and a scallop shell.
